 | Creator of Galatune. Galatune began over 20 years ago, back around the time that the Pokemon TCG first came out. My family didn't have a lot of money and I couldn't keep up with my friends' Pokemon collection, so I started sketching out my own pokemon cards. Eventually, I started tweaking things I didn't like about card games to make them feel more like the experience I enjoyed with videogames and quickly my homebrew pokemon evolved into an entirely new game -one that hundreds of people would come to love as I continued working on my game throughout my lifetime.
With the support of my friends and family, I entered my card game into Wright State University's student business competition in 2016, and actually won enough startup funds to build a market ready prototype. From there, I took the game to Kickstarter and thanks to our fans raised over $20,000 to launch our first starter deck in 2017.
Since then, our fanbase has been growing and we're excited to continue with new game expansions. Thanks so much for believing in this project and joining our journey! |
