 | I am an avid wargamer, have started doing historical wargaming in 1/72 and 1/35 when I was only 8 years old. Admittedly the initial games I played were more akin to H.G.Wells' "Little Wars" than any modern wargame, but that was only the start.
Around 1999 I started playing Gamesworkshop's Warhammer and Warhammer 40,000, and quickly developed a taste for converting models or sculpting and scratch building my own. This eventually resulted in my first resin casting efforts in 2004.
When Warlord Games released their 'Bolt action' ruleset I finally returned to Historical wargaming, but was confronted by the lack of support options in this scale for the minor nations. I quickly picked back up my scratch building skill to plug these gaps, in 2013 I moved my design methods into the digital age.
With the help of Rabid Monkey from Trenchworx I taught myself how to do my scratch building in CAD. My current methodology is to CAD - Print - Mould - Cast. |
