I am 50 years young and Nathan just turned 12 in March 2022.
We love doing things together.
One of our favourite pastimes is board games and as a dad I was always keen to make sure that Nathan was able to handle losing so I rarely let him win. However, this may well have backfired on me as he now beats me regularly at any game we bring to the table, so much so that I've stopped counting.
Designing games together has been one of the most rewarding things we have done. It not only keeps him off the Xbox but it has brought us even closer together, if that's possible.
Bringing our first game to the point of publishing has involved a lot of hard work but has been a joy to do. So much so, that we already have other projects underway.
The key thing about doing our Kickstarter is to show backers that we are serious designers, who will deliver what we promise as we would love to build a great reputation in the board game world. |
