 | Having had a long and interesting career spanning a range of interesting areas including; Design, Logistics, Writing, Management, Projects, Business analysis and now Directing. Running through all of my professional and personal life was a deep love for games and strategy.
Games and strategy have not only given me great personal joy but, afforded me fresh perspectives in my professional career which, I can honestly say have contributed to some of the successes I have achieved.
At the tender age of 40 years old, it truly felt like the best time to use the skills I'd honed to give something back to the world I cherished. The joyful hours creating games out of cereal boxes and leftover monopoly dice for my children were in hindsight the foundation for wanting to do just a little bit more.
When I say a little bit, what I really mean is a hugely exciting monster of a project which ticks all the boxes missing from my otherwise enjoyable career. To hit a big round ten on the cliché meter, gaming really is my passion and I desperately wanted to leave a legacy worthy of the experience it has given me. I am confident that many more like-minded people would like to accompany me on this adventure before an inevitable wizards beard takes hold. |
