 | Drew Reid, a Mechanical Engineer from Melbourne, Australia.
A table top and card game enthusiast, a maker of loud noises, a collector of guitar pedals.
My passion for board and card games started quite early, at the age of the 14. I had the best spider solitaire scores, representing New Zealand. Since the development of online gaming, my attention briefly went to competitive online gaming, having played Quake since it's inception to the internet. Eventually I rediscovered my passion for table top games and board games having many boozy late nights playing Risk and Rummikub with mates. Around 2012, I was very much involved in the MMDOC (Might of Magic: Duel of Champions) where I sat in the top tier of competitive rankings. Still I am involved in this community and currently sit as #1 ranked player (19/01/2021)
In 2018, I designed my first card game called "The Elementalist", a rock, paper scissors styled survival game. Yet to be released, I took some key elements from this game and developed them to create my latest project (second design) which I started in 2019 called Inferno.
Other games I like to play in my spare time are Catan and Sequence. |
