	After over 20 years as professional musicians, singers and performers, Gina and John retired and became college lecturers in Drama, Theatre Studies and English. After ten years of doing that, they moved to Manchester (Gina's home town) and built a theatre, The Three Minute Theatre (3MT) in an empty shop in the Afflecks building. They founded the successful Manchester Shakespeare Company, writing and producing fun, contextualised adaptations of Shakespeare's plays as well as original musical productions. The Game of Play is the precocious child of all these experiences.
