 | We are John Hayes and Mark Michael, two friends and collaborators who endeavour to create original, fun board games that unite family and friends.
We both love board games and loath parking...and we thought that there must be plenty of other peeved parkers out there in need of a release from their parking frustrations. So we created Parking Debacle, the board game that turns parking frustrations into liberating bursts of laughter.
We don’t have a huge team of collaborators and designers behind our campaign, or an established crowdfunding fanbase waiting with baited breath. But we do have a decade-long creative partnership behind us. Over the last 10 years, the more extroverted one of us (John) founded the Winchester Film Festival and steered the festival to international status. He is also founder and editor-in-chief of Winchester’s satire magazine, SMUG, for which the more introverted one of us (Mark) provides the cover designs. Mark also exhibits artwork around the world and is author of the dark humour book Cold in the Sun. |
