 | I've been playing board games ever since I can remember. It was the basics at first (Battleship, Monopoly, and Life). But on my tenth birthday, my best friend surprised me with Wabbit Wampage! I didnât know board games like that existed, and--holy cow--the different type of gameplay got me hooked. Iâve always wanted to build my own board games. I wanted to create something interactive, educational, but also entertaining. With those in mind, Carrots was born! Carrots would be a representation of small life lessons. The lessons of what happens when you put money (carrots) in the bank, earn money (farm carrots), gamble, and be stolen from or get caught when stealing. However, life will sometimes throw you curveballs (Rabbit Hole cards). I have had many groups play this game, and itâs always fun to see the interaction between players. Players' emotions range from laughter to that cute puppy dog face saying âplease donât take my carrotsâ, or even that loud cheering when people go to the gambling bar. I hope you and your loved ones enjoy playing Carrots as much as my 10-year-old, 19-year-old, 24-year-old, and more playing together. |
