 | Michael C. Hayes received a classical education as an oil painter at the prestigious Watts Atelier of the Arts. He recently moved away from working as freelance illustrator and is now an independent artist entrepreneur and gallery represented artist.
Michael seeks to create artwork that is undeniably beautiful, emotionally impactful and hints at just enough of a story to elicit a personal narrative in the mind of the viewer. To this end, he has received numerous awards from the Art Renewal Center and the Association of Science Fiction and Fantasy Artists. His work has hung in collections, galleries and museums all over the world.
Michael currently lives in California with his girlfriend, their dog and a continuous supply of foster kittens. |
