 | Artist and archery trainer Noor became a leatherworker for fun in 2012 after discovering new techniques to transfer her intricate illustrations onto leather and make her own archery protection gear. After a burn out and having to resign her job as a high school teacher, this grew into a small business where she designs armguards, quivers and other products for archers and visits competitions to promote the sport. She attempts to make this her full time job so she can keep her workshop.
Spending her free time playing D&D led to her getting frustrated with her A5 folder that held her notes; this became her first leather cover design. With her party members spurring her on, she started making extra designs for the different players. And that is where things went from 'spare time' to 'full time'. |
