 | By day, Luanga 'Lue' Nuwame is a mild-mannered father, a truck driver for a charity and comic book nerdboy...but by mid-day and whenever he has free time, he is best known as the madman YouTube cardboard craft designer The Homemade Game Guru. His original 'how-to' crafting videos garnered a 2008 Majorfun.com creativity award, international media attention, and over 7.1 million unique views since 2008. In 2009, he created a handmade world-record (775 sq.ft.) wood board game based on his home city of Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.
After taking a few years away from YouTube to concentrate on work and family, Lue is back to making 3D cardboard crafts and his passion has resulted in a new game-show board game concept showcased on CTV News and CP24 News Canada-wide.
Lue is a devout comic book nerd who is also obsessed with collectible action figures! He founded Zelpha Comics Ltd in 2016 and has self-published comics books such as Paper Rock Scissors N' Stuff Wars with numerous talented artists. Lue's passion for collectibles and working with cardboard has led to the creation of the world's first cardboard action figurine line featured here on Kickstarter. |
