 | Hello fellow miscreants, deviants, or anyone that isn’t afraid of laughing at dark humor. We are Jason and Justin and we are Atomic Children. We started the company officially in 2016, but our first game One Drunk Night… has been in development for over 6 years. We love board game nights. Justin personally owns over 200 games and Jason is working toward that number very quickly. We both attend gaming conventions such as Dragon Con, Board Game Geek, and PAX South. I think it is official, we are gamers. When not gaming Jason works in sound for film/television, brews, is a great father, globe trotter, and non-stop extrovert. Justin works in biotech, is a huge science fiction and fantasy nerd, loves adventuring in whatever form it comes in, and is liable to roll his eyes at you when you don’t get his incessant movie/TV/book quotes.
Now flashback to 6 years ago, when Jason said, “Let’s design a board game”. We started out with some brainstorming, what type of game, how complex, what is our theme, who is our audience, can we actually produce it, etc.? We both have a lot of experience gaming so we know what makes a game fun and replayable. After several “design”/drinking sessions we decided to make a social party game, and set a 6 month timeline (yeah missed that one). We both felt that this style would capture the best aspects of game night; laughing and interacting with friends. The stories we tell of our adventures along with those of our friends (whether real or imaginary) have inspired the humor you will find in One Drunk Night...
Our dream is now ready to become a reality with just a little help from YOU. We are ecstatic about the results. This game has been well tested, all the cards vetted multiple times for clarity, playability, and whether it is an entertaining card.
