For some, getting a conversation started keeping it interesting can be a daunting task. For others it can come quite naturally. Regardless of the situation you are in; maybe you are at the pub with your friends, at home, or on campus, we have made sure Chat Cards is a quality way to spend time.
”It all started with some handwritten cards.”
On a cold and dreary December afternoon, we came up with an idea.
It became a handwritten card game with lots of weird questions. Some very interesting and some quite silly ones to be honest.
After two semesters of collecting interesting questions and eliminating stupid ones by trying each question with friends on campus, we were left with only the weirdest , most thought provoking, interesting and extraordinarily hilarious ones.
Before long Chat Cards had become a project, hundreds of people had participated in where each question had been tested with all sorts of people in quite many different settings.
The key to Chat Cards's success was that the theme was never the same. We could be having an interesting, thought provoking conversation about who from history would we rather have dinner with or have a weird conversation on which sport would be the funniest if the players were drunk. Each question and answer opens the door to further conversation.
We have come up with over 600 questions compassing all types of personalities, subjects and settings and chose only the best ones to suit every type of player's interests.
Even the most boring of our friends ( this is you Marc ) can now be fun! Yay!
Our vision is to spread Chat Cards to every group of friends on Earth and let no gathering be called boring any more.
In the last two years this project has become our baby and even though we have created a finished game, we will continue working tirelessly every night in the pub or at home drinking with friends and testing more and more clever questions.
