After completing a 5 year art and design course and obtaining a Diploma (max score 60/60) at the State Institute of Arts in Milan, Italy I continued my training at Oliviero Berni Studio (www.dreamsstudio.com/oliviero/index.html") who happens to be my father... I began collaborating with graphics studios and publishers since school, then worked full time as art director for several Italian advertising and promotion agencies for a few years. After building up contacts and professional experience I started to work as freelance illustrator and graphic designer for all major Italian publishers. Since 1992 I also started to work on CGI, realizing 2D computer graphics, 3D models and animations, games art and multimedia presentations. In 1995 I moved to London (UK) and began working as a freelance Illustrator and CG artist. I worked on the development of CD games at Dorling Kindersley Multimedia in 1996 then a year later I moved to Cambridge (UK) to work as lead artist on various PC titles and PS2 projects for Creature Labs. When that company folded I returned briefly to freelance painting and later moved back to Italy in 2005 where I currently live and work, and help running a tiny (but my very own) miniature games company: BAUEDA WARGAMES (www.baueda.com) for which I do most sculpting (traditional and 3D modeling), all artwork, figure painting, photo retouching and web design. I also sometime still take on freelance commission work for worldwide games publishers, for example I did all diagrams for the Field of Glory rulebook series published by Slitherine and Osprey (www.fieldofglory.com).
