	As an author, Dee Garretson was inspired to create a game based on some of her favorite books by Jane Austen. She wanted to create a game that would be enjoyed both by fellow Austen lovers and by those who are new to Miss Austenâs works. Deeâs own books are published by HarperCollins, MacMillan and Albert Whitman. She writes for both children and adults, including books for the classic Boxcar Children series. Her former career as a landscape designer inspired the look of the board.
