	How we started? As a family, we have played all the classics like Catan, Carcasonne, Ticket To Ride etc. for years now and wanted to take our favourite parts of these and put them in Space! We wanted to develop a game that was easy to learn, quick to play and fun for all the family. We also wanted a game surface with infinitesimal options so every game was different. Mostly though, it had to be about Space and finding Exoplanets! Dad is Peter Collins, who set up the Facebook Group Kickstarter Collaborators Club, especially to help first time board game designers get in touch with and learn from more experienced Kickstarter guru's. This group has quickly grown to over 500 people and is a safe way for creators to bounce ideas off each other and grow together. The Girls - 'H' is creative and playful and loves trying out new game ideas and 'D' loves Physics and Astronomy and her passion for the stars is what made this project fly. Mum has spent lots of time in hospital rooms with the girls in the last two years testing Empty Space Explorers. She has the superpower of challenging us to fine tune our games and make them simpler.
