	Since I first read The Hobbit in 1999, and the Lord of the Rings trilogy, the following year, I have been captured by the fantasy genre. During that time, trading card games such as Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and Magic: the Gathering, were hugely popular. I created my own card game, called Realms of Chaos, in 2002, based on characters and notes I had compiled during the previous three years. Over the next 18 years, I would design several more games, including a simple, party game about acquiring treasure from greedy dragons, which evolved from the other projects. This would become Dragonvault, and I am excited to finally bring it to tabletop gamers around the world.
