	Girded Rose Games is the brainchild of our founder, David Blazek. Writer, Hydraulic Engineer, Store Manager, Interior Designer and DM Extraordinaire, are just some of the hats David does or has worn. David has been creating board and role playing games for friends to play for years, but only recently listened to the push from them to publish! He created Girded Rose Games (a play on the names of is Grandmothers, Gertrude and Rose) for a number of reasons. David and KK have 2 children, as do a few of the other founding members. They also have 2 stacks of games, those we can play with the monsters, and those that only come out when the monsters aren’t home. David had a desire to create games that could either be played by all (or most) ages as they were, or by tweaking them a little to use alternate rules that made play easier for kids. This led to the main drive of Girded Rose, “Games and Gaming for every age!” Knowing he had a wealth of creativity, know how, and talent among the various people David and KK gamed with, he put out the call to see who had the time and drive to dedicate to the path he had started on. Though David prefers to be the “guy hiding in his cave doing the writing” and thus put his wife in charge of “doing the talking”, the 5 founding members make up a close knit group who all met through LARP and various Tabletop games.
