	Hi! My name is Frederik and I‘m from Germany. I‘ve always been a board game enthusiast, playing them with my parents and grandparents when I was a kid. Over the years, I concentrated more and more on mobile games such as Clash of Clans and Clash Royale, which inspired me a lot during the work on this project. I created a YouTube Channel for mobile games that got over 700.000 subscribers (http://youtube.com/mrmobilefanboy). While testing numerous kinds of games, I was wondering if it‘s possible to combine the mobile gaming experience with the style of my favorite board games. The idea was to create a game for everyone, which brings together board game veterans, and young people that may never played a board game before. It all started with that dream, a 3D printer and my good friend Matthias who helped me from the beginning. We worked on this game for the last one and a half to two years, putting all our heart and time into it. It‘s been a long way with a lot of setbacks and even more play testing. The result is „Hexagonia“, a board game that represents the perfect middle between highly complex strategy games and casual party gaming. Because of itss unique 3D game board and the deck building elements, there will be more extensions such as new hexagons and troops in the future, if this project will be funded.
