Hello my name is jamie, I started playing cards games as a wee lad when the TV show pokemon came out. As many kids my age I fell in love with the show, shorty after the show I discovered the was cards I could collect to Catch em all! (see what I did there)...I collected all the cards from the first 3 sets (which I still have today) until yu-gi-oh entered my life and I found a new show and set of cards to collect. Difference was the card game had my attention more than the show. The school I went to had lots of players for me to play with. I played yu-gi-oh throughout my middle school years. It was my 3rd day of high school when I found myself sitting at a lunch table with kids playing Magic the gathering. I was blown away with the complexities, art, and vast amount of cards the game had. I fell in love with the game and needed a deck to play! (Parents hatted when I found a new game because that meant a new collection to start). I found myself at a local game store trying to build a deck when an employee there gave me one of their decks. I was soooo excited I could play at school now with all my mates. After a while I got board playing the same decks against the same decks. I found Friday night magic after that and my desire for competition became everything. I started playing in any event I could find. I played magic for many years traveling for tournaments, however after all my memories of playing under the big lights, my favorite memories are my memories of me and my friends back at the kitchen table designing cards. (usually really over powered and won the game on the spot). It was my favorite thing to do, after a while I made a card that changed everything. It was a mechanic that magic didn't have and it steamed rolled into a small game I called paper fight. I was fun and me and my friends would play it more than magic. One day I decided to take it to a local game event and even the players there liked it. I took their "constructive" criticism and changed the game. I continued this for about 3 years, taking the game to as many places as I could changing it over and over into the game it is today. Overlords has undergone many changes over the years but as always kept the same mentality, To deliver a fun and interactive game that can be played on a kitchen table or under the big lights. We want players to focus and spend their time building decks and playing the game instead of spending all their money to build a deck. We have structured every aspect of our game around our players and we are happy to be delivering the game that players not only want to play but want to be a part of. We have big plans for Overlords and with your help we will be able to do all the things we have in mind. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Jamie
