	Card games were a big part of my childhood. I remember fondly the hours I’d spend playing games like Monopoly, LIFE, and Uno. As I grew older and got more in touch with my heritage, I realized that although I had fun playing these games, none of them felt specifically made for my community. I dreamed of what my life would be like had that been the case. I started AZN FLUSH with a shoestring budget of $500 and found out that I wasn’t the only one who felt underrepresented by the gaming industry. AZN FLUSH went viral, orders poured in by the thousands, and UGLY was born. The feeling of creating a game that made a community feel represented, to me, is a high worth chasing. From now on, you can count on UGLY to continue creating experiences that bring underrepresented communities together.
