In 2018, Lars collaborated with great friends to create ICE CREAM EMPIRE (4.9 Amazon Stars) on Kickstarter with more than $30,000 raised from 221 backers and WHISKEY BUSINESS! (4.7 Amazon Stars) with more than $18,000 raised from 285 Kickstarter backers! Both games have gone on to become Amazon's Choice and WHISKEY BUSINESS was recently featured by the Seattle Times & Atlanta Journal-Constitution! UNCORKED GAMES! started with UNCORKED! on Kickstarter early in 2014 and has been renamed READ BETWEEN THE WINES! Then BREW HA HA! came next in 2016 and all 3 original UNCORKED GAMES! were featured by The George Washington University Magazine article "Board Game On!" as a great gift idea for the holidays! Lars is from Washington, DC and has loved living at the beach in Los Angeles for the past 13 years! Growing up with a German Mom, he spent summers playing all the great board games with cousins in Germany giving his games a European feel! He went to the Washington Waldorf School for 13 years where he developed his creativity and his love of community. He went to the College of William & Mary where his entrepreneurial spirit soared and got his Master in Sports Management from The George Washington University and worked in the sports industry for more than a decade before spending the past decade doing political Advance events for the Bidens, Obamas, Clintons, Kamala Harris and many more world leaders! He's been blessed to travel to all 50 states and every continent, creatively cultivating community along the way, usually around games. The next "game" he'd like to play is to be on "Shark Tank" and get a deal on his games! In 2019, at his parent's place on the Northern Neck of Virginia, Lars married the love of his life, Julia! He knew he met his match when she beat him playing all of his own games and she has been dubbed the Ice Cream Empress because of her impressive dominance in both of his ice cream games! Lars & Julia are thrilled to announce that they're excitedly expecting their first child, a son, early next year to add a third player to their family game nights!
