Mario Barbati is a game layout artist and game designer, but also an architect, journalist, graphic designer and cartographer. In 1999 he founded Øone Games which became the first publisher in the world to sell a D20 adventure in electronic format: The Legend of the Steel General. Øone Games boasts 11 nominations at the prestigious Ennie Awards and a first prize for Best Electronic Book in 2010.
