	In 1997 the owners of Newt's Games (Jim and Christine) started a new habit of collecting decks of playing cards. At first they collected any deck of cards they could find but over time we narrowed that search to decks of cards with unique card faces. One of our favorite types to collect has been either transformational or semi-transformational decks. It is an older style of playing card art that dated back to the late 1800s and to us it was so cool. After collecting thousands of decks over the years we finally opened a retail and an online store. The retail store now has it's home inside our local bookstore in town and our online presence continues. We are now venturing out to more than the playing card world as we introduce our first dice game.
