I've been an avid fan of role-playing games since I discovered them at a very young age; at lunch time in elementary school I was often writing rudimentary game scenarios while the other kids were having food fights or picking their noses. It started for me in the 1980s with "Het Oog des Meesters", the Dutch translation of the German game "Das Schwarze Auge" (later also translated into English as "The Dark Eye"), but I soon also discovered AD&D 2nd edition, Shadowrun, and Warhammer Fantasy Role-Play. In the 1990s, the White Wolf games were a huge influence on me, with their groundbreaking emphasis on storytelling and incorporating morality in the game ("Vampire: the Masquerade" left a permanent impression, for example). I also started LARPing in the nineties, eventually running my own succesful event ("Cyberlive", a futuristic LARP event) from 2002 to 2012. Although I've always worked in IT, graphic design and creative writing remained passions of mine. So in 2013, I decided to start developing "Ambrosia", a role-playing game in my native Dutch tongue. It was published by Red Eyed Rabbit since 2016 and has proven to be succesful in Belgium and the Netherlands. I also developed Figment, a cooperative card game for young children, which is both educational and a gateway for children into the boardgame hobby. This cardgame was reworked into "Once upon a dragon", the new edition if you will, in 2019.
