	Hello, my name is Rosemary Cedillo. I have been a substitute teacher since 1995. Early on in my time working with the school district I began to notice a pattern. Many students cannot read or write at their own grade level. My elementary, middle school, and even high school students were were frequently experiencing difficulty with reading, writing , and spelling. I began to develop a card game that I named (Challenge, the Word Game). It is played with letter cards and a game board. Players earn points by combining consonant cards with vowel cards in order to create words that have been chosen from a vocabulary list. Each round is 10 minutes long. Challenge, the Word Game... It's for anyone ages 5 to 105! Two to Four players.
