Vincent Verhoeven is educational co-worker of the public observatory Armand Pien of the Ghent University in Belgium. He has a great passion for astronomy and space exploration, moreover he wants to share this passion with as many people as possible. Being also an avid boardgamer, he has created LunaTix as an extra tool to bring astromy and space exploration to the public. As we are a small organisation, not specialised in board game development, the production of this game can only be realised with the financial support of the people who want to back it. By supporting LunaTix, you also support our project 'Stars shine for everyone' (www.ssvi.be). Bottom line in this project is that all children, also those with special needs or the most vulerable ones, should have the chance to look through a telescope and enjoy the wonders of the universe. Therefore, we provide organisations for disabled children of in developing countries with telescopes, but also with guidance and educational material (books, star charts,...). Once produced, we would like to add the board game Lunatix to this educational package. It would be wonderful if we could gather enough backers, so that the game can be produced in 2019, the year we celebrate the 50the anniversary of the first moon landing.
